Munich Lufthansa Senator Lounge (Non-Schengen)
Visited this lounge as a *G in SQ F. Both status and cabin provided eligibility, unfortunately SQ F does not provide access to the LH F lounge.
Arrived for my flight quite early, actually before the lounges opened and so was first to enter for the day. All other LH and *A flights leaving this time of day are within Schengen; London and Moscow LH flights depart just under an hour later so I was mostly alone in the lounge for my stay. It would appear no other *G holders were joining this flight.
While visiting the Schengen Senator lounge you can get the express entry directly after security as opposed to this lounge which requires a very small hike through the terminal. It is upstairs via a lift and somewhat opposite the first class lounge.
Alas with a few hours sleep both my phone and I were quite blurry eyed, so most of my photos were rubbish (didn’t help not all the lights were on so it was a tad dark!). I sat myself down in a quiet spot, looking over the security checkpoints.
There is a decent spread of food, both continental and hot breakfasts, cold spreads, noodles and more. Even ice cream!
A decent sized area for working, plenty of power points and pens available everywhere. And most importantly(?!) a pretty decent looking bar that would be a pretty popular space in the evening.
Overall a quite comfortable lounge with a decent food and beverage selection that hopefully is not so overcrowded as the other Lufthansa lounges.
